Easy Bone Recipe

Last Thursday, some of us were talking about painting and either John or Zach mentioned that they didin't know how to paint bone. You can find a fairly easly technique that gets decent results here (its halfway down the page).

I know Zach said he isn't ready for any advanced techniques beyond putting down base coats, but with this bone recipe only really needs a base coat and a few glazes (glazes = super easy, just slop them on and you really can't screw it up). The recipe suggests highlighting after the glaze, but you really don't have to. I was walking through the steps, but just never really got around to highlighting and I think by death chickens and Pistol Wraiths turned out looking just fine without.

bone is an easy detail to paint, I use bleached bone (actually its called antique white in the colors I use) then do a brown wash to bring out the details. I usually add more color to bring out the detail.
