Sat. Afternoons for Org. Play?

Hey folks,

I've been thinking alot about the ideal days to play and have leagues. It doesn't seem like Sunday afternoons have boosted attendance at all (in fact, it seems worse than Thursday evenings; more stuff has come up that and John hasn't been able to make it at all).

However, it seems like more folks from Fostoria/North Baltimore are planning to come this Saturday for the SteamRoller league. I'm wondering if more of these folks would come if we had league days/special events at this time? Or are more people coming for the SR because its more competitive and has prize support? Or a mix of both factors?

I'm thinking there as to be some sort of ideal sweet spot in terms of timing that would bring the Findlay group and the NB/Fostoria group together in a big community of players. That's my hope, at least.

I think playing saturdays would help at least for me it would. I work midnight so i have to go to work sunday night so sundays usually are a bad time for me i want to make it up there to play games just finding it hard to go sundays

Shawn and I are both at the mercy of whoever can take us since we are without a vehicle. That said, our schedules are usually pretty open anyway and I'm good with whatever.

Who is usually your ride? Seems like if we can get a schedule that works for them, we can nearly double our numbers.

I could use a ride as well. However, I am unable to field the usual 35 points for events and the like. So, I'll just be playing smaller casual games.

What faction(s) do you play? I've got models for 5 factions and would be glad to loan you some so that you could play.

Also, unlike others, I really enjoy lower point games (from battlebox to 25ish), so I'd be happy to play with you if you could make our regular play days.

I was coerced into Retribution by Shawn Hufferblight. He gifted me with with enough models to start with.
