khador battle engine

ok guys do you think that the battle engine is worth the price or would i be better off getting assassins with u/a and some mercs.
thanks for any advise.

The khador engine is an interesting beast.Its got two beefy AOEs that leave rough terrian. Its the worst nightmare of squishy stealth troops that lack pathfinder. Its also suprisingly mobile thanks to the cavalry rules. Plus the huge base makes a decent bunker for squishy models.

On the other hand the assassins have stealth, have great defense by themselves, and hit stupid high defense with iron flesh. The UA's mini feat means the opponents caster has to be outside assassin threat range or be incredibly tough. Actually the khador wagon probably scares the pants off these guys. Unless there in 4 star under No Blast Damage Gorten.

The battle engine has an issue in it not being incredibly well supported by Khadors casters. One of the Irusks has Fire for Effect, Fortune on Harkevik, Weld Sectets on Old Witch, and both versions of Sorcha have feats that interact with it somewhat. Thats about it.The upside is that the leaque of a million mechanics can keep it alive, and the wagon is fast enough to move up field, shoot, take some damage, and head back for repair.
