Went to DG tonight to support Dennis who had a journalist guest from the Courier.

Sadly, couldn't talk about Warmachine, didn't have enough time.

But I managed to convince a 40k player (who plays Malifaux and lots of other games !) to come and try the game probably next week. I can provide a fully painted Cryx Battelgroup (one modification, a nightwretch instead of a defiler).

Sweet, wait till he finds out how much fun it will be. Keep on converting...

I don't expect much, he played 40k for 20 years, still loves it and has all armies but 2. But if he can come and have a game from time to time with us, it's a win-win situation.

Yeah, I tried hard to make some 40K converts, but that Wednesday night group is pretty singular. Nice guys, generally, but really aren't interested in much else.

Yeah the 40k guys are really fixed in. Price of being competitive players in a game where power balence shifts every two months.
