I just heard that three folks from Toledo were coming down for this event.

Havnt had a good rager in a long time so was looking forward to friday, but if the wife is still sick then have to cancel. Only good thing about that is then I can win a cool looking medal.

Few questions.
1)Bring a fully modeled festival tent: A player who builds a festival tent that meets the requirements for
the scenario is awarded 2 points. (does this just mean printing out the festival tent?)

2)Play with Alexia Ciannor or Alexia, Mistress of the Witchfire: 1 point (who are these people, is there a model/unit car that will be provided?)

Lastly, would I be correct that all games will use this scenario, and still follow steamroller rules (time limit/tie breaker/ turn extension type of deals?)

1. Nope, it means modeling the tent if you want the points. You can also get points for playing with a fully painted army and so forth. As PG, I'll be bringing the print outs of the tents and the zombies.

2. Alexia is a Merc. character unit or Calvary solo. You can read about her here: http://battlecollege.wikispaces.com/eAlexia and here: http://battlecollege.wikispaces.com/mkiialexia . For the purposes of the event, she'll work for any faction. But, you have to own her model and/or unit and bring her to play with if you want the points.

All games will use the scenario. As this is an event (more laid back, play as many different games as you want), there won't be any time limits, etc. such as in SR (if I'm recalling the rules packet correctly).

I'll be there, and I Beleive Shawn will be there as well.

That's cool. I did shift the times a bit, but forgot to update the DG. In any case, I'll be there around 4:45 to set up.

If you come late, that's fine. People can come whenever and leave whenever. It's not set up like a tourney, but rather you play as many games as you want and/or can get in before the midnight deadline.

This should be a nice shindig. Cant wait to use my new models.

What is the official start time though? I understand coming late is fine, but still needs to be an official start time for terms of games got in possible, and points. I need my medal is what I am saying. Don't want the start time to officially be 6:00 for example, and get there at 6 and have people already with 4pts (via playing 4 games already)

For these 50 pt. games, I doubt anyone is going to get in 4 games during a 30 minute time of "wiggle room."

I set the "official" start time at 6 PM for promotional purposes with hopes of luring folks from Toledo down. I thought if the start time were too early, some of them might pass if they got off work at 5 PM.

In any case, I'll be there at 4:45 PM or so. The "official" start time is 6 PM, although if folks are there, paid up, paired up, set up, and ready to go, I may let play start 15-20 minutes early (no reason to just stand around). In any case, 1/2 hour or so shouldn't make a difference in a 6+ hour event.

while i concur with your 4 games in 30mins, it was an example, and me and jake got 2 35 point games in within a half hour monday (2 turn two cast kills) but saying that that would be a 4pt difference right there if something crazy happened. Like I said, making sure I get my medal

Very fun event. Had a good time and learned quite a bit.

I had lot of fun at this event and I'm already looking forward to the next one. It was nice to get Strakhov back on the table and now I remember why he was so much fun. Occultation, Superiority and sending a jack up to 13" up the board in a charge is awesome.

I had such a blast there. New players new armies I havent played before. I still can not believe that I had the most points. Thank you everyone for such a great time.
