SteamRoller 2012 50 pt. Tournament, Saturday August 4th

50 pt. SR 2012 Tournament
Date: Sat., August 4
Location: Dueling Grounds, Findlay, OH
Time: Sign in at 2 PM. Play to begin at 2:30 PM sharp.
Entry Fee: $10
Event Point Size: 50 Points (two lists optional, normal character restrictions)

Prizes: Store credit will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places (amount dependent upon total number of players).

SR2012 Appendix rules:
1. Army Lists: Baseline (Second list optional. All lists are subject to the same point constraints and must be led by warcasters/warlocks from the same faction. Players cannot include the same version of a model or unit with FA: C in more than one list).
2. Painting Requirements: None
3. Number of Rounds: Variable (dependent on total number of players)
4. Game Timing: Baseline
5. Victory: Baseline
6. Final Standings: Baseline
7. Space limitations limit the overall number of possible players. The first 14 players to sign up will be guaranteed a seat.

Yep. Since any SR 2012 scenarios could be used, you'll need to plan reinforcements for that possibility.

I want to go to this pretty badly. I need tournament practice and would like to see some different players to play against. I really hope I don't have to work overtime on that Saturday.

Maybe you could contact some of the Toledo guys for a ride? If they are coming down I-75 anyway, maybe they'd make a detour for you? I know that Scott Stromquist's email is: stromquistscott8@gmail.com if you want to contact him.

I have a few guys that may be coming with me. We are looking at 2 to 4 people.

Good call. I'm not expecting that many, but it could happen.

I've edited the official post (see point #7 above) to reflect the reality that the tournament venue cannot handle more than 14 players.

So, I would suggest showing up a tiny bit early (e.g. as soon as the store opens) to pay and get signed up.

Hay quick question, I have a photocopy of a tier list (Legion of Everblights - Bethany, black magic). It is printed out and all, the Steam Roller 2012 rules say I can use the photocopy, just want to know if that is alright for this tourney.

Yes, this is fine. I've used a photocopy of Shae's list for tourneys in the past in the SR pack is clearly fine with that.
