35-pt SR 2012 Tournament
Date: Sat., March 24
Location: Dueling Grounds, Findlay, OH
Time: Sign in at 2 PM. Play to begin at 2:30 PM sharp.
Entry Fee: $5
Event Point Size: 35 Points (two lists optional)

SR2012 Appendix rules:
1. Army Lists: Baseline (Second list optional. All lists are subject to the same point constraints and must be led by warcasters/warlocks from the same faction. Players cannot include the same version of a model or unit with FA: C in more than one list.
2. Painting: Baseline
3. Number of Rounds: 4 Round Event
4. Game Timing: Baseline
5. Scenarios: No Radial Scenarios
6. Victory: Baseline
7. Final Standings: Baseline

Many more of my minis are/will be painted for this also! I look forward to seeing everyone again and playing you all. I haven't been able to get to DG as much as I would have liked as of late.

Would be easier to if you had a license! I say this to jake, although I should expand my targets of this insult.... then again, it seems like most of our friends who have licenses are the least likely to leave there houses *cough* drimmy *cough*

The hardest part of the Steamroller I noticed and am still trying to get used to is the 7 minute turn. You have to optimize you list and roll fast. I hope to see you there.

Infantry spam armys and models with a metric ton of interactions are going to be difficult in turns 3-4. Its the main reason Im running full gators this time around, small numbers and fairly straight forward. Besides gators being mostly painted.

I just got confirmation from Amy that the coin prize kit is in, so we'll have prize support on the day of our event!

Barring some unforseen event, I'll be coming into town for the tournament.

I just want to confirm the location of the Dueling Grounds since I haven't been there in over 2 years. Are they still on East Sandusky Street, right across from the Fern Cafe, between the railroad tracks and Blanchard Street?

I had a bad experience once where a game store had moved locations, so now I like to double-check:)

They havent moved. Thats the correct location.

I've looked at Google maps and I can confirm that the store is between the railroad tracks and S. Blanchard St., so I'm pretty sure we're talking about the same place.

If I take a tier list, are my reinforcements tier-restricted also?

Yes, reinforcements are still part of your list. So they gain the benefits and restrictions of theme lists.

Two days till the tourney and I still do not have a list ready. Anyone else in this boat right now or is it just me.
I thought I had a good idea, but I think it was over specialized and fell short in the end. So back to the drawing board.

Pretty sure I have decided on both of my lists. Beetween the Harby list I posted and a Tier 4 Sevvy list I'd like to try. Finally got my other TFG together so I have a min and a mx unit now.

Two TFG units? That is sweet. I hope to see them on Saturday.
I will probably just have one list, 35 points with 7 reinforcement points.

Still have to finalize my reinforcements, having trouble decide what I want to take. Since I have seen people talking about taking beasts/jacks I assume that if you do they will come in attached to a Caster/Lock? I will most likely stick with a Sunburst Crew and some solos. Maybe some Mechaniks, for that could be nice having a Mechanik coming in later in game when my jacks get dinged up whist destroying everything.

Beasts and jacks come in attached to their caster unless coming in with a jack marshal or lesser warlock. The turn they come in beasts may force outside command area and I believe jacks come in with either 1 or 3 focus.

That's pretty awesome. Free focus, I can dig it. That might make me rethink my reinforcements!
